This F street North East (NE) DC property located in the heart of DC's sought-after Capitol Hill Historic District, was in a deep state of neglect when District495 acquired it. The property is located a stone's throw away from Union Station and in the midst of a beautiful tree-lined Historic District neighborhood with Victorian-style row houses that are typical to DC. Being a historic property allowed District495 the opportunity to restore it to its former grandeur. Whilst preserving its historic charm, we planned a contemporary upscale open concept design, with modern creature comforts, high-end appliances, and high-end material. The exposed and preserved beautiful brick walls added a touch of classic elegance and warmth to the home. In keeping with historic property regulations, the façade design was unaltered during redevelopment, and elements were carefully replaced to ensure historical accuracy.
